Well now if we ever meet to go shoot the gun I`ll bring a box for you to stand on..To be honest I`ve yet to shoot it and was wondering how hard its going to be to load its so darn long

  well if it becomes too much of a bother to load (short people wise{jus kiddin}) send her my way an I'll load er fer ya   Seriously that is a beautiful fowler and you say your not into smoothbores much, I think this one will change your mind

I would just about bet the fram that The Great Spirit has had to do one of two things either import hack sawa by the truck load or ban the use of them all together
Even with all the modifications they were wepons that he had a use for and still looked good

I got a chance today to run a few round balls through the gun and she handles very well..Loading this long puppy was a challenge at first..A very,very fun gun to shoot

On the bathroom scale around 6 1/2 pounds

For sure and for certain Dennis would have had it to a handy 26" or so pack gun right quick an in a hurry  He did like them quick pointin guns !

Beautiful fowler.  Gotta love those round face locks.  Speaking of which, that lock looks like a Chambers Virginia lock to me.
