Even an old 5 gal bucket will work depending on the size of the item.... When I did my shooting bag took and boiled coffee grounds from three days supply of coffee in a large pan and then poured it over the bag into a 5 gal bucket and let is sit for a couple of hours stirring occasionally - worked great and got the color I wanted.... when I was finished and the bag was dry I just beat it against the fence a few times to remove any excess coffee grounds
