Did the Fed.'s give any reason as to why the ranges were closed? just courious.

There was a big fire near there last year...it stopped within sight of the range. Probably the forest service was still checking out damage and would be in the target area.

Oh I just noticed that it's a 5 day event...I'd only be able to come down for the weekend.    Would it be worth the while to drive 4 hours to come for the weekend??

It's worth it for one day.
