flax twine....good stuff

After perusing my local Harbor Freight store (one of my favorite places in the world) I found something that I think everyone here can use and it is very period! They have twine made from flax! Not jute, which isn't a period material. I paid $6.99 plus tax for a whopping 900 ft!!! I have already hand woven a strap from mine and used some for tinder, by stripping it down to bare fibers. The options with this stuff is endless! So go out and buy some or order from their website and get rid of that jute twine! Seems cheaper than hemp also.
