Quick get together

I'm new to the U.P. so the bunch of fella's I'm fallin in with invited me to one of their Rendezvous,what a treat it was! Just found a spot in the woods,set up camp,hung a couple of targets,had some brew's and enjoyed the primitive life. Stayed pretty warm under that fly too.Got down to @ 10 that night. What better way to spend a weekend!

Certainly looks like winter campinggg. Can be lots of fun with a lean-to with a fire in front/ Used to do that in White Mt/ wilderness of NM back in early '70s. That UP area sure is purty (and remote_)

First time that spot was used. Last time was on a bluff over lookin' the WhiteFish river. That's what's cool about this,pick a spot,check with the DNR,call some guy's and go! One of the guy's brought a corned beef,so we cooked it in a dutch oven with onions,cut up some really good sourdough bread,saurkraut and thousand island dressing, HOLY WAH!
