Remember my wife and me this week in your thoughts and prayers.  Our son was killed in an automobile accident 7 years ago on the October 16th.  It is always a difficult time of year to get through. Who ever said it gets easier as time passes never had to deal with it first hand. If you have a child give them a hug and tell them how much you love them. And above all else spend every minute you can with them.

MY SINCERE AND HEARTFELT PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU MY BROTHER!!!  I lost a daughter 9yrs old at the time on Oct.18 back in 2005 one day after my now  almost 13 yr. old sons birthday on Oct. 17. Tough time for all but the Good Lord says he will never give you more than you can handle. The best steel has been thru the hottest fire!!!  All will be well for you this we all know. Sadness goes hand in hand with joy sometimes brother..  Find something good to do to occupy this tough time. Believe me it helps!!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to both of you. While I have not lost a child the way you both have, I have also experienced losses. In 92-93 my losses about broke me. In 92 I lost my father Memorial Day weekend, then lost my brother that Sept. and with the loss of my brother we lost all contact with his 3 children until last year ( his X-2-B fled state and broke all contact). Then Valentines of 93 I lost my fiance. While I can not compare this to the loss of a child, I can say that I do know how much a loss can hurt and offer you both my true heart felt prayers. 
  Be strong, kind, caring, and loving as this is what your lost loved ones would have wanted, and your remaining loved ones need in you.  It may still be hard,  but life here is short and if you follow the right path in this life, you will join them in the next stage we all must also follow, and at that time you will all be together for eternity, which will make these years seem like the blink of an eye at most.

I have always and still do tell my children I love them. Now my son is being deployed to Afghanistan in Dec for a years tour and I won't be able to say it as often but he knows I will always be thinking of him day and night 24/7. I tell my grand kids the same. Life is unpredictable it could be you who isn't here the next minute.

None of my own, however, 2ed. & 4th (same ex  ), has lost the 2 oldest boys. I've known them since they were 11 & 10.
Too true, never easy.
