I made the bag from a pattern I think Ranger or Razor posted some time ago.  The strap is 1-1/2" Cotton Webbing from Wal-Mart.  I picked up the Buckle at Hobby Lobby.  Home Depot had the 1/4" grommets.  A friend gave me the suede on the strap.  The bag is 6-1/2" wide by 7-1/4" deep.  The leather came from Tandy.  There's no pockets or lining in the bag.  I figured a plain one would be best for my first try.  I plan on trimming it up a little, just haven't decided with what.

Wow!  Thanks guys.  I learned a lot from making that one.  Now that it's all made it was lots of fun.  That being said, I think I'll stick to smaller stuff for awhile! :D
