Traditions Deerhunter sights

Anyone here have a Traditions Deerhunter rifle? Was wondering how those weird sights are attached....I know they are screwed on, but does the screw go into the barrel or into a removable dovetail wedge?

Ned, It depends on the sight. The rear is screwed into the barrel.The front is screwed into a removeable dovetail wedge.
