I'm low on ammo.  Actually I am pretty good on .440" and .445" ball and have a range days worth of .350".  Other than that I have .490", .600", .530" and .311" with each one MY supply is In single digits.  These are the main ones I need to cast.  If I ever find myself in the woods hunting deer again I'm okay with ammo for my .45s but that's it.  Forget about reaching for my .50.

Used to not be that way.  I have thousands of ball for the calibers combined but the ammo is with a friend in Virginia.  I couldn't bring my ammo with me but thought I'd eventually be able to reclaim it.  But so far no scenario has worked out where I get my ammo back.  Plus I'm low on lead, maybe 75 lbs available.  Before the move it was more like 400 lbs.  This photo was taken before the move.  Probably a dozen or more cans from about half to 100% full.

Many people purchase precious metals as a hedge against inflation.

You have chosen wisely.
