Time for a new month. Same 3 targets: 5 on paper

25 yd pistol/revolver
25 yd offhand
50 yd bench or other rest.

Shoot 1 or all it is just for fun and Braggin Rights so break out a smoke pole or 2 and shoot some targets.

In the past someone asked if they could shoot everything with a pistol and the answer is YES of course, black powder, open sights no cartridge guns.

I guess that means: TIME TO GO SHOOT AT LEAST ONE OF THE TARGETS! We have until the end of August.

Is anyone else going to shoot?

I actually had plans to shoot last week. However, since our state is burning up again this summer, black powder has been banned from every range I have access to.

I would shoot the targets like I've always done but have no DL and haven't burned any powder in at least over a year.  Everyone else needs to shoot and it is frustrating that I simply cannot.  This is a good way to start some energy flowing in the site.  Currently I do well to walk without falling so am basically house bound.  Get going!

I just tested the link for the target and it still works. I hope to shoot AT one of the targets tomorrow.

OK, if anyone else is planning on shooting.....

The pistol target to beat is a 34. I chose a single shot pistol instead of my revolver and they all hit the target despite the terrible trigger.

I'm still planning on shooting the other targets if I get time.

I wish everyone who possibly can will get out there and shoot.  I sorely miss the shoots and used to do well in some of them.  Even though most of my shots now would end up in the white I'd love to be able to shoot all the targets.  If hotfxr were shooting I'd even go out in my back yard and shoot just to show him a thing or two (whatever that thing or two actually ends up being).  I would get arrested but it would be worth it.

Don't let this site lapse even if only a few of us continue being active.

I didn't keep many of my targets and the ones I did keep were some lousy ones a few "okay" and a few really good ones.  I'll have to look and see what I have.  I know I don't have a full set but one or two maybe.

I thouht I posted this from my Android yesterday, but evidently not.
I shot the offhand and bench targets Wednesday and both are VERY BEATABLE .
I hope someone else shoots so I don't have to declare myself the winner with the curent scores.

Which excuse should I use?
Cataracs or foggy glasses?

Maybe someone else will chime in with an even better excuse for me!

Hanshi I found an old offhand score from about 10 years ago for you and it was a 45. Your Bench score was 39.
For reference, my rifle and bench scores this time are 39 bench and 39x offhand.
There is still time for someone else to shoot.
