just finished this the other day , curly maple , aqua fortis stain , about 20 inches in length with a 3 1/2 inch diameter ball ! this puppy is a skull crusher !

thanks ! that`s the third one I`ve done , going to be listing it on etsy !  usually I do gunstock clubs , but decent wood is getting hard to find at a reasonable price !  the asking price makes you wonder if the seller is nuts or just greedy ! lol

Exactly what kind of wood did you use for it?  At the gun show I recently attended there were a couple for sale at one of the tables.  Yours looks better than the ones I examined.  I don't have any decent wood but have been thinking of using a stone of some kind as long as I can find a piece of wood that would make a good handle.

curly maple ,  but ash , hickory , cherry , and oak make for a good looking and historically correct club as well ! and beware of any that seem too lite , there`s a guy selling them on ebay , his are bass wood !  strictly wall hangers !

pa is kinda weird , these are fine , so are flanged and spiked  maces , but you cant have a sap or billy cub , yet a tonfa is ok !  wonder what they were smoking the day they made the rules !

You can bet it was something stronger than weed.  Just remembered, I'm virtually out of weed.   ...What to get next; candy, brownies, joints or drops.  Got to think it over.
