was just on the traditions web site , the have a crockett rifle kit , but I`d rather be beaten than pay what they`re  asking ! $479.00  'shok' seems a wee bit high !
Man, that is sticker shock right there.  I thought they had ceased production of this rifle but maybe they started up again?
you should check out gunbroker.com  , some of the amounts rifles are going for is insane , even old stuff , they had a tc hawken recently sell for $759.00  , I`ve been searching for a modern piece , heritage arms rough rider rancher carbine , the msrp on it is $330 , you cant find them anywhere , none of the shops within a 50 mile radius of where I live can get them , but I counted thirty on gunbroker the other day , starting bids on them average around $450  !  it`s supposed to be a fairly nice .22 revolving carbine at a price just  a bout anyone can afford , but these thieves are using the auction site as a way to price gouge !

[hmm] Well sounds like he needs a Mongrel Rifle,.. but unfortunately he is not around thees parts any more,..But the ones he built would be perfict if someone on the forum has one and want to let it go,.. Or knows someone that does.  Also the CVA Frontier was a nice small .45  or .50 rifle in the day,.. if you could find one of them....

Hanshi

I have  little Mongrel .45 "rugrat" rifle.  But as yet I can't imagine letting it go.

Hello! Congratulations on your find, now show us the pictures. We all have simple minds (At least Red Badger, Hanshi, and I do) and we live off of pictures of our favorite firearms.

After pictures I will archive this post.
I am the one your mom warned you about!

picture probably is too sharp,  too many pixels.  reduce pixel sharpness and try again.

Open the picture, click "Edit" and crop out any background not relevant to the subject. Then save.

Red Badger

Either that or email a copy of it to me and I will trim it for you and post it here so the members can see it...  Booshways need the eye candy or they get restless :)

The nice thing about a 32 is that it has almost no recoil. They also usually use very little powder.

beowulf

can be fed cheaply compared to larger calibers ! and with the cost of lead and powder constantly rising , that is a good thing ! thmbsup would`nt mind owning a Crockett , or a tc senaca , or cherokee , on .36 caliber but the prices on these smaller rifles is higher than the large caliber guns !

Hanshi

I still have a .32 and a .36 but foolishly let the Crockett escape some years back.  I shoot them quite a bit, compared with the bigger guys, and they ARE cheap to feed, fun to shoot, accurate, super for any small game & varmints and have the recoil of a BB gun.
