I guess I should have posted here but I posted on the trade blanket section instead. Please see my post there or if moderators see this maybe they could move my post.

Thanks,

I was just watching a video by Duelist1954 where is tuning up an 1849 pocket colt with the same over travel problem I am having with mine. He said it is a common problem with the Uberti replicas and he was able to resolve it just fine so I know it can be done. I do not have the tools or patience to do it so my offer stands. If someone really wants an 1849 pocket revolver and has the wherewithal to tune it and wants to pay a very fair price or trade I would like to hear from you.

I had the same problem with an Uberti pocket Navy. Watched the video and did the work and now it's fine. Not that hard to do. However, I didn't want to disassemble the whole pistol so I just pulled the barrel and cylinder and filed the arm in place. This actually worked well as I could quickly assemble the pistol to check the progress. It took me all of 1/2 hour to do.
