For fifty years com Aug 17, 2019... BlueBird and Old Salt have been married (to Each Other No less!)
without one of them killing the other!  Bluebird - it must have been tough sometimes, not to strangle him... you can admit it :)

  Congratulations to both of you!  I'd also be looking at my golden but my first squeeze passed many years ago.  It's is great that no knives or clubs have entered into the relationship.  I think you have to be friends as well as spouses (spice?) in order to make a marriage.

I'm fond of telling folks that for the first few years we couldn't keep our hands off each other.  But after we were threatened with arrest, we finally stopped fighting.     Our current "hitch" is going  on 31 years so we have a ways to go.

Old Salt & Bluebird, ya stuck it out this long so it must be true love. Happy 50th. 

I would be celebrating(?)   my 52nd if I stuck it out with my first one but I have a hunch we would have killed each other before now.
The good wife and I have made it through 44 years and look forward to our 50th.

   Congratulations! Not too many can reach that milestone without significant legal help. We just hit 41 thanks to interventions and my hiding all the weapons where she can't get to them.
