Once the end comes.   Support the remaining spouse when ever you can.  We get together with my cancer buddies hubby, Tuesdays at my house and Thursdays at his.  He has also started going to church with us... We are the only friends who stuck with them start to finish and are still there . He needs our support and love as much now as when his wife was sick.
