I pulled an old 36 cal out of the gun rack today for it's semi annual cleaning and found that when the cock is back and you pull the rear trigger back it would fire. How do I adjust them to stop this?

Any idea what kind of lock it is?  I have heard of some that the front trigger is the set and the rear is the fire, and when did this start?  I know it must have been since the last time you fired it so is probably a simple adjustment of the front tension being to much
