Was that made by a friend or did you order it from a catalog,,,  I have been trying to get one but apparently those that I ordered from have lost my order,, or life has been tough on them,,, either way I am still looking for a place to order a nice antler powder measure,,, and that one you have is a beauty,,,    flwa

That is a beautiful powder measure, wow!  Any idea what stain was used?  Mine, on the other hand, made from antler and rivercane, look like something made by a 5th grader during class.  Here's my two best, that's right, best.  The only thing positive that can be said about them is that they don't leak.  They hold a nominal 60 grains and 30 grains.

This is a primer built by someone who has skills and knows how to do it.  He gifted it to me out of the blue a few years ago.

I just like to post pictures so bear with me, here.  The horn on the left I made by cutting off the damaged part and restoring making it hold powder again.  The other one is a cheap horn I tinkered one and is still a "work", ha, ha, in progress.  They are both attached to their respective bags.

This pic I just threw in for the &#*% of it.

Except for the primer, which I did not make, and also the guns, The rest is garbage compared with William's museum-piece measure.  Sorry for hijacking.

Done by a friend and I can ask him if he minds if I post his info and contact numbers here.  Have to do that tomorrow.

That is definitely one of the nicest measures I have ever seen. Simple & sweet.
I am the one your mom warned you about!

Okay, after checking with the maker he gave me permission to post his info. He's quite flattered too but keep in mind that he's a one man operation and somewhat new to producing accoutrements. I know he does powder horns too and I've got him working on a commemorative horn to go with my new TVM Virginia rifle.

He doesn't exist if he's not here with us!  At least I think that's how it works; time to ask our hyper leader.

I invited him to join us but like most people who are new to a forum like this, if he joined up he's probably lurking for a while before posting.

As for me, I haven't been online much this past week after having three stones blasted out of my left kidney.
