parsimonious!!???   [hmm] Isn't that a big word for you?  By the way, what does it mean?  skrt srndr

I think it means singing in harmony while cooking Italian food or maybe pruning to close to the branch. Not totally sure but someone said it about my capacity for intelligent thought so I am pretty sure it means something good.   :applause:
I am the one your mom warned you about!

skrt parsimonious ? aint that those things possums love top eat in the fall ?  skrt skrt skrt or was that persimmons  skrt ?

It's both....just try eating a green one....like sucking on an alum stick. Pucker you right up.  Who would let the possums get to them, grab a spoon and scoop that tasty slimy stuff out and eat it yourself.

If you get an early freeze, they sweeten up more and are delicious except for the big seeds.

A wind storm broke down some of the fruit-covered branches on our lease one year. The persimmons all fermented and started to dry. Deer, coons, and possums hung around the trees until they ate them all. I saw a coon walking wobbly near one of the trees.
I managed to set up a stand and kill a nice doe with my bow. She was headed right to the busted trees.
