Had a scary Halloween morning. Had a lithotripsy for a large kidney stone this morning, was in an operating room @ 7;45 A.M., surrounded by people in masks & not a Naughty Nurse costume in sight. Worse yet, no coffe until after.

   Stay healthy, graybear; hear!  I've been on the verge of them a couple of times but it all passed me by. 

I know it's a bit late, but....  Knew a couple of hunters who killed a ghost around an old crumbled house at the start of the season.  But when they took it to a taxidermist, there was nothing to stuff??!

And speaking of Halloween, I once dated - as a youth - a witch; no joke, a REAL witch.  She told me when we first started dating that she was a true witch and had inherited her grandmother's powers.  I thought it was a subtle joke; that is, until we went to a Halloween party.  Great party but when we started for home I happened to - accidentally - mentioned my scepticism about her heritage.  I just didn't realize how serious she was and how true it was.  I found out when she whispered some words in my ear and I turned into a dirt road!

Well, my 1st stone was properly shattered and passed but when they did the x-ray to se how the lithotripsy worked on the right kidney, they found one in the left kidney that was 7mm in size( .284 in. for those reprobates who have problems w/ the metric system. I only know this because I reload for the 7X57 Mauser.) They zapped that one last Thursday. Saw the urologist today and he said lots of water and lemonade and he'll see me in 6 mo. Then he said "no tea". Hey, I got  to have my occasional Earl Gray, hot and my occasional regular tea. Can't follow Dr's. orders completely. Don't know if I'll go out for a buck in regular rifle season(already have 2 doe in the freezer from early muzzleloader season using that which shall not be mentioned) but after Christmas,PA has a flintlock season. If I get some decent weather days I may go out then.

graybear  Much as I hate to say this, You Probably better do what the Doctor Tells you..Doctors can be smart about Making sure to tell certain Old Codgers   what to do....Sadly I am one that they tell more than once.... So will the let you drink Beer and Coffey or is he that Evil to you???
