As you peruse the older posts here, you will find an incredible amount of ingenuity in coming up with alternate uses and modifications to yard sale finds in our persuit of gear "on the cheap". Normally I live for projects like the one you have offered, and I would love to bring it back to life. But if I did, you would have to accept it back when it was done. This is kind of a slow time, it seems, in postings and I am sure you will find takers in a few days and I will look forward to seeing someone's efforts to making that kit look brand new. I am also looking forward to seeing your rifle overhaul. Thank you for the postings, these things are what keeps us going strong.  wtch

Id love to see it get used as a project
Id never put a price or stipulation on something like this,,now i can use as much good karma as i can get
If someone would like it id enjoy seeing it used even if it didnt turn out that well and maybe down the road someone can send me something as a thank you that would be great but never expected
But I totally understand what you mean,,thank you and your welcome to have it as well

Mountain Man

I'll have you know that I am not the one who is receiving the splendid carving set. I figure to let someone else have a chance to play with a project. I was busy today testing a couple of locks I made for the cannon (in case old R. B. gets grumpy again) and taking said shotgun out in the rain shooting at starlings that have been terrorizing the neighborhood lately. Don't get anywhere close to them, but it is fun to watch several thousand birds moving around like a giant amoeba in the sky.

Load the cannon with 2 pounds of #7 1/2 shot and see how many Starlings cease to exist.

Uh that would be R.B. that can't hit the walls from inside. I am the one that can't hit the ground even if I was aiming at it.Which I believe makes me the better shot, I think.  ROFL  ROFL
