A while back I bought a box of parts from the estate of a long time builder, these parts--except wood were in that box.  .45 cal. X 12" 1:22 bbl.  maybe a grn. mt.  L&R "Bailes" cap lock.  The guard & butt cap are antiques.  she goes 2 lb. 4 oz.  and shoots right nice.   Take a look and click on pic to see few more......Tom

sorry about pic's gunmaker--NOT a phota-graficar...

Nice ta see yer still at it! When I tooled western belts people wanted a discount on 1"  and 3/4" belts cause they were 'so much smaller!'. Never mind how tedieuis the toolin was. Same # of flowers exct! Do you have ta justify pistol prices cause there so much smaller?  ROFL Good lookin pistol there.....for a capper.  thmbsup  ;D

Thanks for the kind words Sweed,   Yea, about the prices, same as you said about small belts--takes as much time as a rifle (well almost) harder to hold in vise, easier to crack wood, parts little cheaper, but process is hours of close and tedious work. This one, kind a simple design, no rammer, pipes etc still 30 hours.  What does someone else get for that many hr. at a regular descent job, more'n me I bet.  ....how goes it friend ?     Tom

Boy, that's a stunner. I like it a lot. The simplicity is its beauty.  dntn
