Anyone know a source for a throwing knife for kids? We have a couple of the Mouse Hawks for the Grandkids, but all the knives I've seen are adult sized. Most of them are even too heavy for my Wife much less 6 and 8 year olds. They really want to do this but the gear just doesn't seem to be out there.

I know a couple of Blacksmiths who would make one to your specs?

why not an inexpensive Dagger, throwing knife? Or must it be period correct?

I am fixing to make a few more here soon. Ask red Badger how he likes the one I sent him for evaluation. Then PM me for details.
I am the one your mom warned you about!

I picked up a couple of M1 Garand bayonets years back, took off the handles and guards and about an inch of the tang. They don't have to be in collectible condition and the scabbards aren't necessary. Made for some good throwers, and cheap.

I like it!  I use it as a fly killer - t is that accurate, I swear  can pin a fly to the wall at 40ft with this thing!  :mini-devil-28492:  All I have to do is be able to see the fly  pnic

Seriously - it is a good un and could be made for small fry very easily.
