Flat horns are a special pain in the butt to make and I have had a lot less success with them than regular horns.  I have cracked some very nice ones while in the press.  But must confess I love them to death.  It will be a long time before I would pay that kind of money for a flat horn.  Also like one of the other members have said, there are members on this forum that make better looking horns for a lot less money.

that was basically my thought on it ! I`ve done a couple of flat horns and they can be a pain in the nether regions , but his prices are way out of line !

that`s about what I thought ! must be some crazy folk out there with more money than sense ! I`ve only ever bout two horns in the last 36 years , and sold both because I prefer my own work !

I like making my own horns too. But I couldn't resist this one I found at Fort Chambers. But I only paid $80.00 for it.

They are nice horns and prople get collector crazy. I feel that if someone likes something enough thats the butt that fits the horse.
