Gene, nice knife sheath.  "I'm afraid I will mess up" has stopped a lot of people from trying.  So try to make a patch knife, if it comes out good you will be very proud if it doesn't come out good you should still be proud because you have tried insted of just buying an item like the "I am afraid I will mess up" folks.

I needed a sheath for the knife Jerry made for me.  With some help from Bernie I made a pretty good start.  Then Ike came along.  I was going to use some of a nice deer hide I have.  I got to thinking maybe I better try something else before I started cutting up a perfectly good deer hide.  I went down to Hobby Lobby and got a piece of leather.  With Bernie's help I got started.  After Ike I had so much stuff to do I didn't get back onto the sheath until a few days ago.  Anyway it's finished.  Y'all do laugh to bad, at least not so I can see ya! :)
