I have very little in common with my father. We look alike to a point that a women I had never met ask me if I was his son. I remember growing up that we did not click on any hobbies. He has no intrest in guns and I have been into guns since I was 18. I just got into the Rondy's and took my two new guns to show the family. I brought along the Beaver Bill throwing hawk and knife. My dad looked at the guns and said he liked guns with a lot of brass on them :qz:. Not my style. I brought in the Hawk and Knife because he collects knives (some collectable and some junk) He perked up and had a lot of questions about the knife. We went out side and threw it at the tree a few times. Not the best target but he was able to stick it a few times. I think I may buy him a lighter throwing knife and leave a target at his house so we can throw knives when I visit. it was nice to have a common intrest.

Makes me appreciate the time I had with my dad.  From the time I was in diapers, we fished together.  When I got a little older, we hunted together...ducks, pheasants, squirrels, rabbits, even pidgeons.  I miss him.

Red Badger

Enjoy the time you have together...

I lost my dad when I was 13.  He was a career Military and had no use for "Rug Rats" and I was just getting to an age where we had some time together when he passed
