Son has no/little short term memory

On 050912 my son crashed our car in southern Utah..he in now recovering in Provo Utah Valley Hospital Rehabilitation wing....His brain injuries have interfired with his short term memory.  He is also walking like he is on his second six-pack...sometimes forgets what utensil to eat with, etc.. He has been getting better daily but has a long way to go... We've got a large prayer group working in his behalf, but please  add this family too..

He's beating all the Dr's expectations...cognitive reasoning/memory up to score of 79...needs only 75 to be released back to school....up and walking straight and thinking much more clearly....gone from May 9th, don't think he'll live to May 23, should make full recovery.. Praise the Lord..thanks for your prayers...expected to keep making quick improvement for next two to three weeks and then we'll see what he will really end up with.. Four areas of brain bruising that need to recover...

Still amazing the Dr's... back at school and Jenny and I are back home...time to work and pay bills....Restrictions on Allen's activities are going to severely restrict his life style...no heavy weight lifting, no vaulting/gymnastics, no barrel racing, no skiing-water or snow, no football or other contact sports, no trampoline....etc...poor boy may go stir crazy...managing to play his guitar again and is still improving daily..  Two more weeks of constant companion care, but looks now like he will come all the way back....
