And IMHO the main reason the North came out on top was not the combat ability of the average trooper on either side but the fact that the North had the industrial might to finace the war.  Both sides had a populace that was growing weary of the cost in financal and human terms...

     The way I see it, the reason they only needed on bullet and one bullet only is because that should have been all that was needed to shoot themselves!

But as I am Comamander in Chief of this madhouse and I am a YANKEE and proud of it not oly that I am a d^%N YANKEE.... I came south and never left... (only beacuse Builldog Lady won't let me )
