I like the mag, but be careful, I can't remember exactly the article, but I think it was about bow tillering it was nice for ideas, but completely wrong technically. I do enjoy the magazine though.

Wal-Mart carries it here in Washington State. If You ask the periodical manager, they may be able to start stocking it for You. I am not plugging Wal-Mart, it just happens to be the place I find My copy...

Kroger's (3 stores) here in the dayton area doesn't carry it.I have a few other places to check for it...
Anyone else around Dayton ohio that carries it? Let me know....

I believe he "trades" stuff for subscriptions also. I remember seeing an add in the back of the magazine that he trades for "old fishing lures" and such.....

Wild Ed

He also trades subscriptions for old carbon steel knives.  Or if you write a good how to article he sometimes trades subscriptions for those.  That is one reason I like the magazine as the majority of articles are written by those that actually do the things they write about instead of just writers opinions.  ET 'shok'

read the mag , but not every issue . usually look through it and if there`s nothing I find interesting I pass on it ! every now and then you find a good one with several articles worth reading ! I`d recommend it  !

I had a few of the Foxfire books a few years back. That was before I quit loaning out to friends. I guess they just didn't come home. I'm going to start looking for some of them at used book stores.

I happen to love the magazine, and it has it's own shelf in my shop. If I were to pick one magazine this would be the one I'd pick, I love the articles. Have been a  subscriber for some time.
