You know of all the pictures I have seen of this work of art I have to say the last one really sets it off.  Getting the entire canvase in the shot with some background makes it that much more... at least to me...  I am no art critic but I would pay good cash for that painting, it actually speaks to me...

moving right along on Sunday after a great day in the stand on Saturday.. I hope to just about complete the back ground this evening and then start on the final details.
Every stroke needs a purpose , I think with every stoke I go a little move crazy. LOL

Now the back ground is laid in the detail will start , detail  !!!! WHAT ARE YOU CRAZY ! IT'S NOTHING BUT DETAIL ! Ya but there is still much to do.

Green grass makes his beautiful coloring stand out, never said what you were painting with, oil, acrylics, can't believe that is water color?  Anyways as what everyone else has said, a beautiful job of creating some of mother nature's beauty.
