Its good stuff. We eat it here least once a week. You can substitute the crawfish with crab, shrimp, gator, turtle.......
This man can cook, he made a seafood gumbo dish for dinner one night when we were hog hunting back in November; that was good stuff!  I'm sure the crawfish etoofee would be as fabulous following his recipe.
Yer to kind brother, thanks. The gumbo had pretty much every thing you could get in a southern swamp or bayou. Including alligator, crawfish, shrimp, blue crabs, cat fish, not much of it left over.
No, not much left over but a bunch of sleepy hunters who went to bed with smiles on their faces from that meal.

Gonna have to keep this one in mind when the mudbugs start running here, still too cold for them to be real active. Little later this summer though and it's on like donkey kong. thmbsup

Thats one of my more closely guarded recipies.....

Hammerhead

ill get a picture of my homemade traps tomorrow and while we have the traps in the water we are also gonna reach in the water and move rocks around up close to the bank and try to find some of them also

Red Badger

Sounds good to me - We used to have a crawfish catching contest up in Montana during our scuba weekends, They is good eating!

Also i am not much of a gumbo fan, but Mic's Gumbo was fantastic, or I was just real hungry from watching for invisible hogs all day....  hdslp

You can work up a real hunger searching for "those" kinds of hogs... ROFL
