I know, it looks like they have doubled in size over night. How long are they in the nest before they have to leave?

Amazing how big they are, watching you get no real sense of perspective.  Maybe after they leave the nest this year the people who run the site out to install a ruler or something to give people and idea o the size
"The table is small signifying one prisoner alone against his or her suppressors..."

They got bigger, it seems everyday the double in size. One of the bigger ones was trying to eat a fish on his own. It looks like the lens is freezing over.

Looks like more bad weather.. They need to install a wiper and defroster for the camera.  I can't believe I'm addicted to these eagles, like I am..  :applause:

Just seen both parents in the nest covering the eaglets. It's cool to see them side by side. Just got to see how big the mom is.

Boy oh boy, have they grown. They are starting to be more active also. Can't believe how much they've grown. Sure hope that nest has a pull out section. It's becoming fuller by the day. How exciting...

I don't know how many of you are still watching the eagle's? It's been 9 days and they have more than doubled in size. At least thats the way i see ithem.Looks like they'll be working on their legs and feet next..
I'm sure it won't be to much longer and out they'll go.

A student and I were watching today and the next to the biggest went running across the nest flapping and I thought he was taking off.  He didn't like much or he would have had to learn quickly.  It won't be long.  I don't know what my students are going to do then.  They have to check in every day.  Hopefully school will be out before they take the plunge!

Well it's getting close everyone. They have posted,"Fledge could be happening sometime between june 11th through june 25th. They feel it will be closer to the 25th". Exciting times are about to happen. Just thought i would let you know...

Mama has been sitting out on the limb the last 2 days I think she's trying to get them to flap out to her.  Several times I have seen one of them flapping and lift off a foot or so.  If he had done it today the wind would have carried him off.  It is going to happen soon!  Thank goodness school gets out tomorrow my students have got  as attached to this site as I have.  Don't know what I am going to do when they do take off.

They sure are getting brave these days. All three out on those limbs flapping and jumping from the nest to the branches. It'll be any day now, and they'll be flying away..
Have to say thank you to Redhawk for the posting of the site. It has been an awesome experience to see them develop like they have. I now have a new found respect and admiration for this. :applause:                                 Ron
