I know this has nothing to do with black powder but thought it was worth mentioning, got an email from UPS looked official and everything but something wasn't right. It stated that I had a package delivered three days ago and it will arrive shortly and you can track it by this number. It looked official and everything, however I've been dealing with UPS forever and never had them contact me through email before. I have a very good antivirus program and had it check it. It stated it was full of forty known viruses and identity stealing programs, my antivirus automatically destroyed it . I contacted UPS and they stated that they have been notified by several businesses and people of this. They stated in cases where people open it it not only destroys there harddrive on there computer but also steals all pertinent info off of the harddrive. Be careful if you receive this email. hntr destroy it hntr

I delete everything I get in my email unless I'm 100% sure I know who it is.

I recieved the same email several times but I wasn't expecting a package and thought it weird. So in that case BOOM goes the email unopened! I finally made a good decision!

I have my email with yahoo and have received this email stating it was from UPS, Fedex, and DHL. Opening the email will do nothing. It has an attachment on it. That is the deadly cocktail. At least that is how they are coming to my email. Yahoo filters them directly to the spam folder. No major carriers ever have attachments on their emails that I know of. I have received 9 of these emails since the beginning of the month. They must think I'm a wealthy business man, not a poor 27 year old trying to pay for his own wedding in October.

thanks for the info!
