Wonder what my Cherokee ansesters would be doin? Freezing?      Where is that GOOFY  Gore guy with all his talk about global warming? Maybe he meant the heat wave in Ohio today - The high actually reached FREEZING- 32 degs. I surrender - Winter GO AWAY!!

i agree with the winter solstice going on, and the lunar eclipse id say the hills would be thundering with drum beats and prayer chants, they would have sure to seen it as a heavenly sign, as would the druids.

Yup id say the drums woulda been goin all night.This woulda been powerful medicine.Some times i think we've gotten too far from the old ways and its for the worse.Now i enjoy such things as electricity,my ol 94 silverado,the internet so's i can converse wit ya'll like minded folks.But- we've forgotton the place from where we came.Need more balance says I.

id say during the old days we would have been just as dumbfounded and probly scared or saying our own prayers when an eclipse of any kind happened. long before science tried to explain everything.
