Micanopy, if you'll make them center seams in a size 10, I'll sacrifice my feet and be a human test subject.    ROFL

When I started making my pair, I thought it would be easier and more practical to just tie the whole living cow onto my monster size 13 feet Lol. ;D

I just had a brain storm, or a thought any way, yes yes I know, very dangerous but, if one has tender feets but wants to wear traditional style moc's this will work:
Make yer mocs as you normally would. Then go to wallyworld and get a cheap pair of flip flops of the proper size. Cut the bands off and fill the holes in with shoe goo. Once the shoe goo is dry take yer mocs and carefully glue the bottom of the mocs to the flip flop, again, shoe goo will work for this. Then carefully with a glovers needle and split sinew, sew the two together using a whip stitch. Granted no where near historically correct but it would work and you wouldnt be tossed outa hog camp for it.

If ya got tender feet use pigskin as an outer sole on the mocs and they will be comfortable and will wear like iron. You can also put a set of insoles inside these mocs and they work just fine.
