This is a nice .50 caliber TC Hawken that could arrive at your door for the measly sum of $298.68 shipped. (OK, forget the sixty-eight cents.)

Lots of pictures below. What you see is what you get. Fiber optic sights, no flaws in stock, lock and trigger are fine, bore has very light scattered freckling that might come out with a little steel wool.

Does anyone know if the sights can be replaced with traditional ones?

should be able to without to much trouble - a drift punch and BIG Hammer!

that was not nice so I will apologize for it, but in honesty yes you should be able to place traditional sights back on it without to much difficulty....

Sounds logical but the rear appears to be screwed on and not dove tailed. Anyone know if there is a more traditional appearing sight to take it's place?

Red Badger

mine has an adjustable rear sight on it also but a dovetail could be put on it, I will leave this for the gunsmiths on the sight to answer...

Hey sherpa, The Gun Works Muzzleloading Emporium has a rear buckhorn style pre-drilled to fit TC factory holes.

Look here:  http://www.thegunworks.com/custprodgun.cfm?ProductID=906&do=detail&Cat2Option=yes

I Suggest that Where ever you order the rear site that you get the frout site as a pair will mean less trouble when you start sighting it in.

I got this site out of a company in San Fancisco, they specialize in Hawkin parts. It was pre drilled for the T/C and came as a rough casting. I left the original front blade site in and as a result, I had to put a plate insert on the site to get it tall enough.
