Which caliber for a squirrel rifle?

Well, I don't hunt squirels but did take a cotton tail with my .54 last November at the ML hog hunt. I donated the headless carcass to Micanopy for a leason on skinning and guting bunnies using no tools.  Just strong hands, iron gut and long fingernails.  It was then hung in the fridge trailor to cool down and tenderize a day or so.

i've never seen anyone skin a bunny with anything but their bare hands ?

i'ts how i've always did it,

now squirrels, i do slice up the back leggs, and peel em down to the neck.

wouldn't mind a 30 inch .36 barrel for my buggy rifle.... but ? heck.. the itty bitty 21 incher on there , shoots fantastic...
better leave her be.
