Wife Slappin Backstrap of Deer

Chaffa Hosa

Second  thing is get some bun size smoked sausage, I use Bryan, and freeze them.
Take fresh tender backstrap and cut to the same length as the sausage
then with a sharp fillet knife cut a hole lengthwise down the middle of the backstrap and insert sausage
Mix a marinade of one cup Worcestershire and two cups Italian dressing
cover backstrap and place in a covered dish in fridge for up to two days
fire up the grill or smoker and cook be careful not to overcook the sausage is already cooked so don't overcook the deer
I also freeze these in the marinade for a fast delicious meal
Be sure you stay away from the wife while eating this to keep from getting into trouble

jb that sounds like a good recipe, funny how you have all the ingredients around but never figure how to put them together until someone else shows you the way

I've had people eat this that say they don't like deer meat  ::)

half the people in the world dont even know what they like and to dern foolish not to try something new... funnything is until about the 1870's pig was the american cattle and most cows were for dairy needs and to be sure more people offset ol ned (not christy) with woodsmeat
