Back in the spring I was planting my garden and needed some cantaloupe seed. The young lady asked what kind and of course I had no clue as to the name. so she suggested a brand called Ambrosia. At first i thought it was a hype, the seeds were 25 cents each. Anyway after she kept smiling I bought 15 seeds and planted them. Today I picked 3 carried one in the kitchen washed and peeled it and put it in the fridge. A little bit ago I got it out and it's the sweetest melon I ever tasted. got about 36-40 more on the vines

Or a littlellittle scarecrow for the ants and a big one for the coyotes.......

Dad had to put an electric fence wire around his garden this year to keep cats, coyotes, rabbits and probly lottsa other critters out......

I spray Triazicide several times during the growing season for the fireants and I have a 223 for yotes
When my neighbor cuts hay behind my house I park my flatbed pickup out back under a big tree and go out early in the morning climb on the back and set back and enjoy. have shot 4 in one morning

Ironwood

I could have sprayed them I guess.  The city had moved out and surrounded us at that time so the .22 Hornet was out!  The trees have all grown up around my garden plot now.  No way could I ever make a garden back there again. :(

RoaringBull

plant them in buckets

ffrooster

Hey bull dad has also used his 22 with rat shot fer da critters!!!

RoaringBull

I'd give a dollar to see that......

We had a dog gone skunk spray 2 of our cucumber hills the other night. Outright killed a bunch of plants! I am not sure if they will grow back or not. They look pretty brown on about half of the hill...
