I was wondering how you got the dual colors on your horns, damn fine work if you ask me.

I am looking for some more horns to play with, ,used to be easy to find around here but not anymore.

You have to dye the horns twice.  The neck is dyed first with a dark color, either brown or black.  The body is then scraped of the whatever dark dye stains it, then you finish whatever engraving you are doing.  After that the horn is dyed again with the lighter color.  Some horns are naturally dark down toward the tip, so you don't have to dye it twice.
