We used to have deer come right into the side and front yard to eat acorns.  Since we got our little dog not so many come any more.  This doe didn't stay long when Xena, our dog, started barking at her.

I didn't notice until I got the photo up to full size on the computer, the doe has a blazed face!  I haven't seen her around since.  Sure wish she would come back so I could get better photos.

Beautiful creature there.....maybe she will show again and pose for a full face shot....would like to see that blaze better myself...

Very good picture..

Was it taken with a trail cam  or a hand held digital ?
It's not what tool you use to hunt with.
It's that you use the tool Legally and Ethically

Tony,  I took that one from my front door with a hand held digtal. That digital has a 12X tele lens.  The doe and her fawn, a little button buck, were picking up red oak acorns in the front yard.  When our dog started barking she took off across the street to some trees in my neighbors yard.  The button buck took off right behind her.  The photo of him wasn't so good!.  He was moving to fast for the speed I had the camera set.  :(  I took those photos two days before opening day of the regular gun season.

The only thing I got wandering around my front yard is the nabors Chihuahua.  What kind of wine goes with Chihuahua ?  .........................Bullfrog

Ironwood

Woody here's two more. :)  First one from the back door.  Didn't realize the lens had condensation on it.  The second one is from the front again.  Early one foggy morning in the next door neighbors side yard.  I have more but can't find them right now.  :(

Mr Woodchuck

HUNGRY BADD ... need venison.

Ironwood

Bull Frog.... I think Casa Madero of Mexico makes a red wine that should go well with Chihuahua.  Aren't you supposed to serve red wine with meat?  :D

RoaringBull

HHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM.......VENISON!!
