Traditions has come out with a new Hawkens type rifle.  The percussion list for $322.00 and the flintlock goes for $367.00.  If you are looking for a starter muzzleloader this might be for you.

pricing is prety close to on par with the cabelas or investarms hawkens..  i have owned one traditions rifle.. shot great.. but i think the cabelas guns have nicer wood, and look better over all.  i have never shot a traditions hawken. but i know the cabelas ones are a darn acurate rifle.. at least mine and my dads is.

WILDBULL has a Traditions Hawken in lefty....after a few problems with the lock were straightened out its a darn good, sturdy accurate rifle.

my little crockett is a heck of a shooter. only issue i have with traditions is there wood is not my favorite and i had a sear break (which i just now fixed after 2 months thanks to work). called them and they discontiued the model of lock that mine used.

Wow, the Mountain Rifle looks a lot like the Austin Haleck Mountain Rifle.

Gonzales,  I think you are right about the Traditions Mountain Rifled.  I think A & H imported the Mountain Rifle and only manufactured the Model 320 and such.
