Muzzleloading club in Tulare County Ca.

In Tulare county Ca. there is one club that's getting started that I know of. The club is located in Visalia at the Dale Wimp Rifle Range and shoots the fourth Sunday of most months. Winter starts at 9am. Most shoots are at paper, but some reactive targets are used.  Mostly rifle with the occasional pistol is the norm. Contact me for directions.

Have ya gone to that club yet Ned. Is it worth me leaving work and driving the 120 miles to shoot my lil .36. If so I'll start leaving my bp at dads to go.

Jeco, I've been to it I think 4 times so far....we have had from 3 to 8 shooters, all really nice people. It's mostly paper shooting at 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards...although this next shoot on the 29th of March will be silhouettes. I'd love to have you join us, but I cant say whether you would be justified in driving 120 miles or not. That has to be your choice....your dad and I both want you here of course, but we're prejudiced. The shoots start at 9am and last till noon if you choose to come.

I'll try to request that day off. My boss is really good at letting me off work when I request it cause I'm there 90% of the time. What is really funny is that I train soldiers how to shoot their weapons on many different ranges but they won't let us fire our own fire arms. And when I'm home I don't know where to go to be able to shoot safely. Cause I'm not home enough to know the area very well.
