The Price !!

Here is the price my wife and I paid for our freedom and privilege to live in the USA

Calendar year 2008 income/SSI and medicare taxes paid $14223.47 this is after our refund but not including sales or other taxes we all pay
May seem high to some and lots will moan and groan about taxes but I can travel unobstructed for several thousand miles and do not have to present a passport or papers of any kind. I can own and shoot most any kind of firearm I want, I own property and a comfortable home, my family and I eat well and sleep easy at night behind our unlocked doors
I hope I can continue to help support my way of life for several more years.

Amen Brother! Nothing better. But I am fearful for the America my kids will inherit. Will they have those same freedoms? Not looking good from where I'm sitting. I pray I am dead wrong.
