ironwood this a plat i have in my back garden its called a gravilia it flower's from now rite till the end of summer,it has
a very sweet nectar the birds & bees love it.

Wow! Bernie, I'll let you in on a little secret.  I have a color defect.  I'm red/green blind.  I couldn't see all the flowers in the tree until I put my red lens on.  Man!  That is some tree.  What unique flowers too!    Is that water droplets on the blooms or nectar?  Thanks for sharing that one.

ironwood its nectar on the end and its very sweet aborigionals used to suck the nectar of the flowers  the hunney eater birds love them the tree behind is a bottlebrush tree soon as it flowers i will post some picks of that they are an awesome looking flower.

Oh yeah Bernie... I've seen photos of the Bottle Bush flowers.  Looking forward to your photos of them.

With that much nectar just dripping out of those flowers I can see why all the critters love the tree.
