square cotton cleaning patches/ shoot em ?

hi guys.....got some square cotton cleaning patches, just hit me ? use these to patch the ball ?

i have zillions of em.... and big tube of bore butter.... ???


seems like it'ed work ?  there 0.011.5 thick.

thoughts ?

they'er butches bore shine patches,  1 1/2 square, some kind of cotton ''twill''

Lotsa folks try different materials, thicknesses & lubes looking for the best combo for their gun.
Give 'em a try.   thmbsup

lube 'em up and try 'em! After you shoot a few rounds, go downrange and collect a few and check for cuts and burn through...if they're burnt, they're too thin, cuts...well just might be some rough tooling in the barrel some more shooting will probably polish it down a bit

You can try them and see how they work.  Usually though, cleaning patches don't have a dense enough weave to make good shooting patches.

hey, thats good news..i'll try that... altho ? i always like to use a bore button wad over powder,

looking forward to trying the .43 and the .54

wishes it'ed warm up. sick of winter, and all this mud. bitter cold wind today.
