Well, I am no longer a rifle less stepchild, i know you all have seen my post looking for something to shoot, well, last month Jerry Bullard loaned me a rifle to shoot, but time constraints didn't let me shoot at the last rondy just some practice shots and sight in his (extra) rifle for him.

Wednesday i traded my stainless inline (those newfangled things that will never catch on)for a older T/C .54 Hawken from a guy on craigslist.

Sighted it in today and took fourth place, I beat Jerry by 1 point we were both shooting my rifle as his Longshanks broke a full cock notch.

If he had had his regular rifle i would probably have scored lower than him. (gotta work on that)

It took us a little while to get a system together, 2 shooters shooting out of 1 bag and 1 rifle, 1 ball starter, 1 powder measure, and swabbing between shots.

But we had a good time, top place was taken by the club secretary she outshot everyone by a good margin!
