I still haven't had time for anything except that pistol target but we still have time!

Has anyone else at least tried to shoot a target?

Finished with rifle, got driven off my range by black flies, tis the season.

I tried last Thursday and failed because of everything you can imagine going wrong.  Add to that the fact that I can't shoot well enough to hit a paper bag taped over the muzzle.

What is the good word out there? Did anyone else get a chance to shoot?

I finally got time for the bench match so all 3 are done. I just sent it to Blackfeet and I think I can shoot better or at least I used to be able to shoot a better target but it is harder to find time to shoot them than it used to be.

Did anyone else shoot at a target? We were hoping for a little more than 1 or 2 of us. 1st and 2nd place don't mean near as much when you are the only shooters.

Blackfeet, I didn't get your targets.

My pistol target was good but my other targets would have been easy to beat.

We've been having daily rain plus I'm still waiting for a chance to get to the range.  I'll try and shoot the targets this month.  Mine are sort of "on hold" for the moment.  I will try to get in targets for more months than only June.

It looks like Blackfeet was first with rifle and I was first with pistol. We need more shooters.

This cold, rainy weather is not letting me shoot yet so maybe next week.

I got to the range well before the thunderstorms arrived this time.  I shot the rifle target but not for a June score; I did it to warm up and see how much worse I'm shooting after not getting any practice in for a looong time.  I surprised myself by getting a pretty fair group.  But trouble is that it was in the nine & eight rings.  I'll be trying it again with the same rifle next time out.  If I do it too late for June I'll shoot the next months match.  I won't shoot the pistol match until I get through the rifle match - whenever that is.
