two weeks back I walked into a local antique store , walking past a display case I saw a 3`rd model colt dragoon , with the great price of $330.00 , so I asked to look at it , it was new , never fired , immaculate condition , so I decided to buy , also picked up a nice jewelers hammer for $10.00 , when I payed for it , the lady told me it was a sale day , so I got my colt and my hammer for 317.00 tax included ! this stuff does`nt happen to me !  pnic pnic , still wondering when the house will fall out of the sky and land on me ! bunkr

Awesome find! The deals are still out there just few and far between.  Sure would be nice to see pictures :applause:

Wow! I wonder how they stay in business with prices like that.

Is this an actual Colt-produced revolver or an Italian knock-off?

beowulf

it`s a uberti !one of the better italian produced revolvers, they retail for right around $450  give or take a few bucks , and which crook you are dealing with . it also came with a really nice padded soft case , that in my area retails for $25 to $35 , once again depending on which  crook you are dealing with !

That kind of luck only sneers at me as it passes on to the next guy.

that kind of luck has been rather rare in my lifetime ! lol

I find the Walker/Dragoon lines a bit too heavy & bulky.  My desire is actually a Colt Pocket Police revolver in any bbl length and .36 caliber.

having a bad right shoulder , and having owned and fired a walker I can totally agree , I have a model 1851 in .44 caliber ( aka the colt that never existed ) and it`s much lighter and easily handed than the dragoon or walker , my personal preference is a colt or remington in .36 caliber !
