This is one reason they are so fun.

Very true indeed!  But still only one of the reasons.  Just offhand I can think of a dozen minimum.

Speaking of those we no longer own:
12 ga Pedersoli dbl that Red Badger stole from me long ago.

.50 E. Va rifle.

Keenly mourned .32 Crockett.

Traditions .50 DeerHunter with Pedersoli .50 Super Cub and R&S .44.  Closeup of the Va. rifle.

Parts for an old CVA .45 (Douglas barrel).

Beowulf, Are these rifles of your own making? I like the looks of that cap box on the full stock, I haven't seen one like that. Good looking rifles!
wish I could say yes but I`d be lying !  several of them were pretty well beat when I got them , so I did a lot of restoration and refinishing work on them !

Old thread, I know; but then WE are old too.
Cherrybow, you have a LOT of work ahead of you to use up all those locks.  chrrs

Doug, What I've been thinking of doing with the H&A is keeping the tg spring for the hammer but find a way to get the trigger to spring and reset.  Not sure what to do but it will have to be super easy for me to accomplish it.

Everyone so far has there share of babies I be proud to own.  They look GOOD.

This is for Hanshi and his need for constant input to his gun porn lust.
from the top---
20 ga smoothbore, 24 ga smoothbore (never fired yet), 50 cal rescue job rifle ( a mess when i bought it. Long story.), 45 cal Kibler kit modified by me, 36 cal TVM kit, 32 cal Traditions Crockett rifle and last a 32cal deer hunter restocked by Mongrel for my granddaughter (she later traded it back to me for a 45 cal Track of the Wolf rifle I put together). Please note that I LIKE a single trigger. Not shown a 56 cal Thompson Center smoothbore, a 58 cal Cabelas hawken and two pistols.

To all who posted Just fail to lock the door on any specified night.  You see, I seriously need to triple my hoard.

I've got 10 muzzleloaders if you count the two double barreled percussion shotguns but as I age, I tend to pick the same 2 or 3 to hunt with each year. I trust those guns because of their track record but weight enters into the equation also.
