A hawk I made for a friend, I forged it out of a ball peen hammer.

SWEEEET looking hawk would like to see more of you work.
I made one of those it sure but did not that good, tried to make some from rail road spikes but the hole for the handle kept tearing out.
To short of breath to swing a hammer any more
All gave some Some gave all

Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.

I'd gladly send you a large ball peen and a small one for convertion.  A wee hawk for my youngest grandson and a larger one for me would be a very welcome  addition to my camping/playing equipment....  Do you perchance make extras some time???  Very nice work you are showing us... I don't have access to a forge to do the works.  (and don't  know if I could without trying many times)

Thanks for all the kind remarks. I do plan on making more as soon as I get back to day shift (end of December) I'm in zombie mode during night shift. LOL

I haven't thrown it. I did some chopping test and tried out the spike on a Kevlar helmet (it went trough it like butter). Then gave it to my buddy, he's taking it to Afghanistan so I wanted to make it as tough as possible.
